Gazzali's Jinn - Introduction

Introduction
Initially I was about to write something that can be readily appreciated by the masses, which is economics. Endless wants but limited means. Economics theories like the subject on Jinn, is equally filed in the comfort slot and collecting dust. Economics is useful in daily lives of people but needed a different perspective and change to make them most practical. During a recession, it is economics norm to cut interest rates to stimulate borrowing and spur on production, consumption and give a boost to the economy. In boom times, the rate is raised to restrain business investment and consumer borrowing to level off excess optimism and prices. But business firms borrow when they can make money and not because interest rates are low. Against conventional wisdom that consumer is king, firms decide what to make and then persuade people to buy it through advertising.

Like economics, religion does play an important part in my life-in fact in most people’s lives. Economics is reality while religion is most of the time conjecture.

Most of the human race belief in some sort of super natural power controlling their every day lives. It is not hard to find someone who belief in God. But it is harder to find someone to have realized the truth.

The subject on Jinn needed a fresh outlook. A perspective, which is simple, yet can be practically approached. The evasiveness of this subject has made most Muslims to derail from the truth. Evasiveness builds imagination in the past and a sense of not needed in the present. As the world gets united, busy and those subjects that have no immediate attention, unlike economics, gets a dimmer limelight. If not forgotten.

God is the word given to the Creator of the Worlds. It might have come from the word good. If goodness is God then by mere cancellation of the letter ‘o’ can give a name to this Creator called God. God can be explored but the subject of Jinn needs greater filtration to make it clearer to Muslims. That is why I wrote my first book on the subject on Jinn.

Human beings have needs. It is thus difficult to understand God and God’s creation. On the dinner table we do not act compassionately as to why the chicken or the goat gave its life to appease our hunger. We just consume them because it is the mercy of God that all animals are dominated by humans. But if you think carefully when compared to that animal which gave its life for our survival we cannot claim to be better creatures of God! We will not attain purest peace and knowledge in the absence of compassion! In addition to that we are ever forgetful in thanking God for the provisions.

It is We Who have placed you with authority on earth, and provided you therein with means for the fulfillment of your life: small are the thanks that ye give! 7/10

I have the occasion of sharing this opinion with my counterpart but he says the chicken will not feel any pain when we recite God’s name over it and he quoted a certain Al-hadith that the knife has to be very sharp to perform the act! I cannot imagine what he will do if that knife is placed against his neck.

As our hearts have darkened due to our lack of deep thinking and selfishness it is equally impossible for anyone to understand God’s creation.

Jinn is mostly misunderstood. Arabian nights depict stories of amusing Jinns showed the mindset of the early Arabs. It is not a surprise event that the spread of Islam in south East Asia is quicker not because Islam is a simple religion but of its innate belief of supernatural and sacrificial rituals, which is also common in East Asian, cultures.

I do not want to delve in such issues and I would like to dedicate this book to my family, relatives and friends and most importantly to my one and only God-Allah (Glory to Allah) who has given me everything I needed in this life and now a dot of God’s purest Knowledge. I also want to take this a present to the Holy Prophet Muhammad, the messenger of Allah. With full satisfaction in this life, with humility I am presenting this book.

All Praise Goes To Allah (Subahanallah)
There is none worthy except Allah
Allah is the Almighty is the Greatest
Allah is the glorious and praiseworthy
And I ask Allah for forgiveness
There is no power to do good
And no strength do be saved from evil
Allah is the First and the Last
Allah is Apparent and the Hidden
Allah is ever living and never dies
Allah imparts and takes away life
There is blessing with Allah the Almighty
Allah is Ruler over everything

But it is a norm for great learned people of the past to have experience of dreaming the great Prophet. I think it all decided by Allah swt to have a glimpse of the sweetness of faith. It is all about our intention in this life. What we actually want in the inner recesses of our hearts. What you want is what you get. I will also like to give some information of what I do in my daily life. 12 years ago I got the opportunity of a book on Islam. Therein I found a story of the Holy Prophet Muhammad saw. It is reported that ‘ Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, requested further information about Allah’s injunction of the Keys of the Treasure of the Heavens and the Earth (mentioned several times in the Quran). The Prophet saws said to him “You have inquired of me something which nobody has ever asked me befo

Is Time Travelling possible

⚘️It' Friday again. May Allah swt bless and give us goodness in this world and in the hereafter, and grant us Jannathul Firdous.🤲 On the day of Judgement the Prophet will lodge the following complaint. "Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." May Allah swt protect us from this and enable us to read, understand and follow the Quran only. An interesting part in this century is time travelling. We have seen it in movies, you tube and many other social media dramatising this phenomenon. Is time travel possible? Are there any references from the Reading (Quran)? The classic example of going into the future is depicted in 18:25. Its about the seven youth who wanted to safeguard their faith. A notorious King wanted everyone to acknowledge him as god. To this the seven youth ran away and sought God's help in a cave. To protect their faith! "they said: "Our Lord, bring us a mercy from Your
