I Was Taken Up To The Sky

Glory to (God) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless, - in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things). 17/1

It was the year 2005. One of my relative gave me a unique
digital tasbih (counter) from Mecca. I do have a counter but it is noisy when I click it to count.

Asking Allah to bless upon Prophet Muhammad (saw) had been very beneficial to believers. It is known as "salawat" or "darood". However, repeating the same words could become a bored activity. There are hadith which propose 1000 daroods upon the Prophet.

Some
opinionated  40000 daroods before a person reaches the age of 40. Forty is the age when our beloved Prophet was given prophet hood as he received the first five verses of the Al- Quran.

Back in 2005 I got a project in building management which is located 30 over kilometers in the East,I had to leave from home exactly at 0630 hours to reach there. It became a bored journey after a while.

I realized that I could use that time usefully. I took the digital counter with me the following day. I made a resolution that I would say "salawat" on Prophet Muhammad (saw) 1000 times before I reach my destination. I did it every day.

The counter was easy to hide in my palm. And I asked blessing upon Prophet in my heart.

I immediately wrote down the 1000 salawat as 1K on my calendar when I returned home. I wished to see the growth of my salawat. I have not carried out this deed in this magnitude. And I did not want to give up.

To my astonishment the calendar was filled with records: 1K all over the dates. The salawat reached 39K,50K,60K and it reached 100K. I could not believe myself.

I was able to carry out saying my salawats on Prophet with ease.

I was delighted when my records of salawat reached to 100K I was delighted. It was like depositing so much money in your bank. Then something happen…..

I will also like to give some information of what I do in my daily life. 12 years ago I got the opportunity of a book on Islam. Therein I found a story of the Holy Prophet Muhammad saw. It is reported that ‘ Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, requested further information about Allah’s injunction of the Keys of the Treasure of the Heavens and the Earth (mentioned several times in the Quran). The Prophet saws said to him “You have inquired of me something which nobody has ever asked me befo

Is Time Travelling possible

⚘️It' Friday again. May Allah swt bless and give us goodness in this world and in the hereafter, and grant us Jannathul Firdous.🤲 On the day of Judgement the Prophet will lodge the following complaint. "Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." May Allah swt protect us from this and enable us to read, understand and follow the Quran only. An interesting part in this century is time travelling. We have seen it in movies, you tube and many other social media dramatising this phenomenon. Is time travel possible? Are there any references from the Reading (Quran)? The classic example of going into the future is depicted in 18:25. Its about the seven youth who wanted to safeguard their faith. A notorious King wanted everyone to acknowledge him as god. To this the seven youth ran away and sought God's help in a cave. To protect their faith! "they said: "Our Lord, bring us a mercy from Your
