Atonement for sin in Islam

⚘️It' Friday again. May Allah swt bless and give us goodness in this world and in the hereafter, and grant us Jannathul Firdous.🤲

Do you know that the Quran is a Guidance for mankind? (2:185).

If that is so, we need to comply and use it as a guide to live in this temporal world.

The traditional method of explanation is that Allah swt gave the Quran to the Prophet and for us to follow his way. And that the Injeel, Taura, Zaboor are for the earlier generations only. We follow the Prophet's way. Hence, we must accompany Islam with the sayings of Prophet Muhammad purportedly.

6:161 Say: "My Lord has guided me to a straight path, an upright system, the creed of Abraham the monotheist; he was not of the polytheists."

Earlier tafsir took this as the 'Qiyam' position in our daily cycle prayers. We start our prayer from the standing position of Prophet Ibrahim (a.s). Someone has made Islam as some kind of a ritual affair- symbolic.

Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah swt is Islam [Aal 'Imraan 3:19].

The only way to stay on with that is to follow Quran only.

For example, we backbite. And we ask God to forgive us and promise God that we will not repeat it.

According to Quran in 5:89, for binding oath (sumpah, உறுதிà®®ொà®´ி) the atonement is

"the feeding of ten poor from the average of what you feed your family, or that you clothe them, or that you free a slave; whoever cannot find such shall fast for three days"

Feed ten people and say to Allah swt to forgive your whatever sins. Get a clean record and attract peace from Allah swt. And you will live in peace and be happy.

The Criterion is the verse of Quran in subject. Read, understand and follow the Quran.

Then the Messenger will say: "O my Lord! Truly my people took this Qur'an for just foolish nonsense." This is on the day of Judgement.

Do not fall into that category.

The Key of the Treasures of the Heavens and the Earth

W hen I wrote the post of my visit to see the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) , you may be wondering how that can be? To tell you the truth I felt the same way. But it is a norm for great learned people of the past to have experience of dreaming the great Prophet. I think it all decided by Allah swt to have a glimpse of the sweetness of faith. It is all about our intention in this life. What we actually want in the inner recesses of our hearts. What you want is what you get. I will also like to give some information of what I do in my daily life. 12 years ago I got the opportunity of a book on Islam. Therein I found a story of the Holy Prophet Muhammad saw. It is reported that ‘ Uthman ibn Affan, may Allah be pleased with him, requested further information about Allah’s injunction of the Keys of the Treasure of the Heavens and the Earth (mentioned several times in the Quran). The Prophet saws said to him “You have inquired of me something which nobody has ever asked me befo...

How Quran mentions the five times prayer

We are pretty surprised that many Muslims still do not know that the Quran has already mentioned about the five obligatory prayers or salat. And this is very sad.  For simplicity, I have created the following google slides as reference. Blogger cannot embed interactive google slides as far as we know. Therefore, we will link to you the google slides. However, you need to have google slides account in your device. You can sign up with google account to go into google slides. We do appreciate it if you can write some comments here on the presentation and its content. 😊 The link is here

I Was Taken Up To The Sky

G lory to (God) Who did take His servant for a Journey by night from the Sacred Mosque to the farthest Mosque, whose precincts We did bless, - in order that We might show him some of Our Signs: for He is the One Who heareth and seeth (all things). 17/1 It was the year 2005. One of my relative gave me a unique  digital tasbih (counter) from Mecca. I do have a counter but it is noisy when I click it to count. Asking Allah to bless upon Prophet Muhammad (saw) had been very beneficial to believers. It is known as "salawat" or "darood". However, repeating the same words could become a bored activity. There are hadith which propose 1000 daroods upon the Prophet. Some  opinionated   40000 daroods before a person reaches the age of 40. Forty is the age when our beloved Prophet was given prophet hood as he received the first five verses of the Al- Quran. Back in 2005 I got a project in building management which is located 30 over kilometers in the East,I had to leave fro...
